It's the recording studio that could! From humble beginnings, we have spent the last few years juggling lemons, and now we have very delicious lemonade. The Bedrock Room was our very first recording studio, and a central anchor to all things Bedrock. Featuring a large 850sf tracking room, multiple iso booths, lots of fun gear, and a great creative vibe, much magic has transpired within its walls. We even have a #1 Billboard track and a litany of fantastic artists who have contributed to its success.

THE GEAR

This studio is designed for tracking. Lots of tracking. Bigger bands, live video recordings, small events, these are what the Bedrock Room is made for. If you are a looking to mix, or have needs that don't require such a large tracking room, then please check out our Surround Suite. Note that we can book packages that let you jump between rooms so that you can use the right studio for the task at hand while stretching the budget .

Our main rig runs Pro Tools Ultimate™ on a fast Mac Pro tower loaded with HDDs, RAM and loads of plug-ins.

OUTBOARD

Since this studio is designed for tracking, we focused on a boat load of very nice pre amps. The centerpiece of the studio is the API 1608 mixing console with 500 Series EQ from Capi, Maag, ChopShop, and Alta Moda. We have plenty of great mics from Telefunken, Blue, Neumann, Sennheiser and more - check out the Mic Locker page. 

TOYS

This is the gear that lives in the Bedrock Room. We also have a ton of gear in our rental inventory. We can't guarantee every piece of gear will be available, so if your project requires a certain piece, be sure to let us know so we can set up a low cost internal rental to guarantee the availability.

Keys: We have several organs including a Hammond L122, vintage Micro Moog, modern Moogs, Fender Rhodes (cleanest one in LA!), Yamaha Electone Organ, with many more in our rental department.

Drums: . 1964 Slingerland Red Sparkle. Ludwig USA Classic 4 pc with deep toms. We also have all kinds of percussion: congas, bongos, timbales, orchestral bells, djembes, cajons, tons of hand percussion and a whole lot more! But if that's not enough, we have some cool options in our rental department. 

Amps: We have every kind of tone covered thanks to our rental department. But you might never need to touch them because the Bedrock Room has some really amazing amplifiers living here full time. Looking for a really wide range of sounds? We got it covered. For example, we love the hand wired Satellite Neutron combo, we use the Hiwatt Custom 20 as another hand wired option.  For higher gain, we have a Mesa Boogie MkIII, one of the best we've heard! Also in that vein, we have a modded 90s Hiwatt head with gain for days. In the opposite direction, we have a modded 5W Jr. amp with a 40s Ampro speaker or a one of the Supro Combo amps. And we haven't forgotten about bass players! We have an Ashdown EVO 600 tube bass head, Mark Bass head through an Orange 4x10 or a Hiwatt Full Range packed with a 4 Fane 10s and a Fane 15.
